In our conversations with investors we often get asked the same questions about gold’s ESG credentials, and this new video series aims to answer them by showing different perspectives from within the World Gold Council and our Membership. In a series of videos we spoke with our Members about what they are doing in the ESG space, from decarbonising their mine sites to supporting socio-economic development.

Our first video tackles the main questions around gold as an asset; if it should be considered as ESG compliant or if we could just replace it with something else. And of course, we look at one of the most asked questions around gold and climate change, as without a clear decarbonisation plan, how can gold ever be considered ESG compliant.
