Gold jewellery collection 'inspired by the rose'The news feeds on this site are independently provided by Adfero Limited © and do not represent the views or opinions of the World Gold Council. Monday, 8th February 2010 (1203 views) A new gold jewellery collection, which has been designed especially for Valentine's Day, drew inspiration from the "natural beauty" of the rose, according to its designer."This collection represents springtime in full bloom. With the onset of rich lush colours in nature, my thought was to capture those elements and translate that into my jewellery," designer Amisha Khanna tells Diamond World. Gold rings, earrings, necklaces and gift sets are all included in the range, which has been described by Ms Khanna as "unique" and "individual". Previous gold jewellery collections from the designer helped her to be awarded an accolade in the Swaranjali Gold Jewellery Competition. Jewellery specialist Love To Have It recently suggested that retailers will see sales of gold items soar in the run up to Valentine's Day, adding that rings, bracelets and necklaces made from the yellow metal can prove to be a romantic gift at this time of year.
