A wide array of gold designer jewellery is to be auctioned off at a no-reserve event taking place next month.

Rago Arts's auction will aim to sell items such as a unique heart-shaped 18-c Cartier gold and ruby brooch, an Effy gold cocktail ring, an 18-c gold scarab bracelet and ring from Tiffany & Co and an 18-c Faraone gold and amethyst hinged bypass bracelet.

Other brands represented at the auction include Omega, Mont Blanc, Lalique, Baccarat, Guerlain and Gucci.

The jewellery comes from a previously hidden cache of English antiques and art from the estate of antiques dealer Joseph Stanley.

"Buyers will find the best of the Stanley estate in this Saturday sale, all unreserved," commented Tom Martin, specialist in charge of estates at Rago Arts, adding: "It's a treasure trove."

The auction takes place on August 7th at the Rago Arts and Auction Center in Lambertville, New Jersey.
