Seafield Resources has announced the results of its latest drilling programme on the Jubilee gold zone at the Elora project.

Located near Dryden in north-west Ontario, Canada, the Elora mine is described by Seafield as a "classic Archean, narrow vein, high grade target".

A nine-hole, 2,306m summer drilling programme on the Jubilee gold zone tested down plunge from previous high grade intercepts and explored the zone and an adjacent structure along strike to the north.

Hole E-08-33 was the best intersection of the programme, with 34.9 grams per tonne of gold over 2.8m, with a broader zone of mineralisation returning 15.5 grams per tonne over 6.9m.

All samples were delivered to Accurassay Laboratories, Thunder Bay, Ontario, for assay using standard fire assay techniques with atomic absorption finish.

Seafield Resources recently announced that drilling has commenced at its Seafield Fire property located in the 'Ring of Fire', McFauld's Lake Area, Ontario.
