Yorbeau reports latest Lac Gamble drill resultsThe news feeds on this site are independently provided by Adfero Limited © and do not represent the views or opinions of the World Gold Council. Tuesday, 18th November 2008 (1002 views) Yorbeau Resources has revealed that it has generated "exciting" results from an additional six diamond drill holes at the Lac Gamble target.Located on the Rouyn property, Yorbeau has intersected more high-grade gold at Lac Gamble through the drilling programme in northern Quebec. Thomas Robyn, president and chief executive of Yorbeau, stated: "We are of the opinion that we are drilling the upper portions of a major gold zone. The higher grade shoot within the zone is more than 400m in strike length and open along strike and to depth." According to Mr Robyn, many gold deposits along the regional structure of the Cadillac-Larder Lake Break extend to depths of over 1,000m and he believes that gold zones on the Rouyn property, including the Lac Gamble zone, extend to depth. Yorbeau is currently conducting further drilling to test the Cadillac-Larder Lake Break and the Smokey Creek Fault and samples are being analysed by ALS-Chemex in Val-d'Or, Quebec. The company announced in October this year that results from four diamond drill holes on the Cinderella target of the Rouyn property were "encouraging".
