New jewellery store for Malta International AirportMonday, 17th November 2008 (204 views) A new Classic Jewellers outlet at Malta International Airport will enable travellers to "spoil themselves", it has been reported.The store will showcase over 30 renowned gold jewellery brands, according to the Malta Independent Online. It has been designed to cater to both the tourist and local markets in the Mediterranean island and offer holidaymakers the chance to indulge in some last-minute shopping before the journey home. Managing director Paul Fenech told the news provider: "Malta International Airport is one of our strategic partners and a key retail location expected to contribute towards further growth." He added that the firm's objective is to maximise the full potential of its outlets and invest in its workforce. Meanwhile, the organisers of the recent Dubai International Jewellery Week event have hailed it as a success. Trixee Loh, senior vice president of exhibitions and events management for the Dubai World Trade Centre, described the exhibition as a "jewellery lover's ultimate shopping extravaganza".
