Columbus Gold enhances management teamMonday, 17th November 2008 (254 views) Columbus Gold has announced that it has appointed a new member of its management team with experience in the mining sector.The companys new vice president of commercial affairs, Joel Schuster, has worked in private legal practice for more than a decade and has represented a range of mining companies in Canada and the US. Mr Schuster is a graduate of the University of Toronto, has degrees in political science and law and is a member of the bar in British Columbia and Massachusetts. Columbus Gold believes that his expertise will provide it with legal and managerial experience in its bids to explore and commercialise its mineral holdings. Robert Giustra, Columbus Gold president and chief executive, commented: "Bringing Joel's capabilities in-house will significantly reduce the company's legal costs, which we consider particularly important in the current economic environment." Hunt Gold recently announced the appointment of a new senior geologist, Jack Light, who will consult with the firm's senior management on all projects and provide advice on local and regional geology, exploration programmes and permits.
