Gold results from Dogpaw Lake project

Friday, 24th October 2008 (295 views)

Houston Lake Mining, which searches for precious metals in Ontario, has provided assay results from the latest programme at the Dogpaw Lake area.

Significant figures include 2.47 g/t gold over 1.40 metres, 2.46 g/t gold over 2.10 metres, 4.47 g/t gold over 2.6 metres and 2.97 g/t gold over 1.95 metres.

The Dogpaw Lake zone makes up part of the overall West Cedartee gold project operated by the firm.

President and chief executive officer Grayme Anthony said that the company's goal is to define sufficient gold resources at the location to justify installing an on-site mill.

"Given the results from our recent drilling and sampling at Dogpaw and Dubenski, I believe that this goal is very achievable," he remarked.

Earlier this month Northern Gold provided an update on its activities in Ontario.

Using two drills located at the Kirana project in Kirkland Lake, 56 exploration holes were targeted, representing a total of 8,819 metres of core material.
