New gold zones found at Jessup projectWednesday, 22nd October 2008 (290 views) Rye Patch Gold has announced that progress has been made at the Jessup project in Churchill County, Nevada.A drilling programme at the site consisted of 45 reverse-circulation drill holes covering a total of 5,120 metres. New areas of gold were identified and known gold zones were expanded during the course of the work, the company revealed. Drilling is now complete at the Jessup and Wilco projects, while work is underway at Lincoln Hill to follow up on a previous result of 27.16 g/t gold over 21.3 metres. Chief executive officer and president William Howald remarked: "Success is the word that describes Rye Patch's drilling campaigns on its three advanced-stage gold projects - Wilco, Jessup and Lincoln Hill." He added that the firm would release further results from all three locations throughout the year. Meanwhile Noront Resources has stated that its 2008 underground access programme at the Windfall project in Quebec has been successfully completed.
