Second gold discovery for UnderworldWednesday, 24th September 2008 (321 views) Underworld Resources has announced that a second gold discovery has been uncovered at its White Gold property in Yukon.The new area returned results of 1.18 g/t Au over 28.5 metres and 3.36 g/t Au over 7.5 metres. Further drilling at the Golden Saddle zone has also provided the firm with extra gold reserves. Significant figures from this region included 3.38 g/t Au over 14.2 metres including an interval of 5.97 g/t Au over 6.67 metres. It comes after the company conducted a 13-hole drilling programme covering 1,243 metres in July at Golden Saddle that provided results of up to 4.03 g/t over 19.58 metres. A second phase of core drilling is set to be completed at the end of the month with the objective of extending the gold mineralisation area and testing high priority soil anomalies. Yukon is a north-west state of Canada and has "abundant natural resources", according to the government's website.
