Gold bead specialist continues growth in South PacificFriday, 22nd August 2008 (360 views) Chamilia, the US jewellery designer, is expanding into New Zealand following its success in Australia.The company, which specialises in customisable pieces comprising of 14-c gold, silver and crystal beads, wants to further its interests in the South Pacific market. Multi-national Chamilia, which also operates in Canada, the Caribbean and Europe, announced it is opening an office in New Zealand after a 'successful first year' down under. The chief executive office of the company, Jeff Julkowski, said that the firm was "overwhelmed with the reception Chamilia has received in Australia". He added: "Chamilia has become very popular in New Zealand and the new office will better allow us to support our growing list of retailers." Its newest line of beads will be unveiled at the JAA Australian Jewellery Fair 08 in Sydney in September this year. Chamilia has been manufacturing gold beads for 35 years and claims to use only the highest quality 14-c gold.
