Friday, 22nd August 2008 (4870 views) The National Jeweler Network has published a round-up of the jewellery Couture show in Las Vegas.According the network, feminine, vintage-inspired designs led the way for the designers on show, including the 18-karat rose gold Fly By Night Bug Me ring from Stephen Webster. In addition, "knuckle-duster" rings also proved popular - bulky rings created solely from metal such as the Gold Passion 18-karat rose gold ring from Pianegonda and the 18-karat yellow gold Moresque Ring from Roberto Coin. Finally, designers who presented their work in Las Vegas included multifunctional pieces that allowed customers to get "more bang for their buck". Examples included long pendants that could be transformed into a brooch. Charms in 18-karat yellow and rose gold were on offer from Mimi So which could be used on either a bracelet or as a pendant. In other news, Roberto Coin recently released a selection of Olympic inspired gold pieces, including the Golden Sneaker, made with 24-karat gold which was varnished with nappa leather.
