Drill results from Kalimantan GoldWednesday, 20th August 2008 (418 views) Kalimantan Gold has announced new results from its drilling at the Jelai gold project in Indonesia.The site in East Kalimantan has now has 56 holes drilled for a total of 4,468 metres over the past 12 months. Fresh results from the project include 4.9 g/t of gold across 15 metres including 11.74 g/t of gold across 5.4 metres, 5.6 g/t of gold across 5.2 metres including 17.33 g/t of gold across 1.2 metres and 2.15 g/t of gold across 5.95 metres including 10.3 g/t of gold across 0.65 metres. Looking at the future of the Jelai gold project, president and chief executive officer of the company Rahman Connelly said: "Our two scout drill rigs will continue to define the near-surface expressions of the structures, whilst the two larger capacity drill rigs ... will focus on intersecting the gold bearing veins at depth." Kalimantan Gold said it hopes to have an initial inferred resource for the site by the end of this year.
