Avion Resources announces resultsMonday, 18th August 2008 (339 views) The majority share holder of the Tabokoto and Segala gold projects in Mali in West Africa, Avion Resources, has announced the results from its ongoing 15,000+ metres drill project, Fox Business has reportedThe company completed 44 holes of about 8,300 meters last week. Results from six of the 21 holes in the Segala area have been returned. Hole S-08-05 in the Segala deposit returned 28.8 metres grading 2.93 g/t Au, while hole S-08-07 returned 27.0 metres grading 2.96 g/t Au. The company claims that the wide zone of gold mineralisation at Segala confirms the potential to further expand the project's resources. Rene Bharti, president of Avion Resources, said: "Avion's initial exploration work reinforces management's belief that the value of the Tabakoto and Segala assets will be fully realised as the exploration program continues." Avion Resources describes itself as a Canadian-based exploration and development firm specialising in strategic acquisitions in Africa.
