Herbal company on lookout for "inner beauty"Friday, 15th August 2008 (668 views) A herbal personal care products manufacturer in Sri Lanka has announced it is on the hunt to find the "inner beauty of women", reports the Daily Mirror.Swadeshi's herbal soap brand Khomba said it will be offering prizes to women who enter the competition which involves them sending in a profile with recent photos and a description of their inner beauty. Prizes on offer include seven gold pendants in the shape of the Khomba leaf, two pairs of gold earrings and three gold necklaces. A spokesperson for Swadeshi said: "A woman's beauty should be judged not only by physical appearance. "This promotion will reward women for their good qualities, values and for the beauty that lies in their hearts." Of all the profiles submitted, 24 will be selected over 12 weeks before a panel of judges selects the top three. Khomba gets its name from the Khomba tree which has many herbal medicinal, cleansing and curative properties. In other news, Swadeshi has launched a new range of "truly Lankan" perfumes.
