Golden Band Resources has released an update on its exploration of the underground programme at the La Ronge gold belt in Saskatchewan.

The drilling programme at the Bingo gold property has now been completed.

Highlights from the gold deposit include a total of 1,135 metres drilled across 102 underground drill holes. These holes were completed at the 1295-metre and 1325-metre level.

For eight deposits operated by Golden Band in the area, there was a total of 780,904 indicated ounces of gold and an inferred resource of 256,207 ounces of gold.

In the same press release, Golden Band Resources said there are other prospects which could be developed. These include the Jolu Mill and Waddy Lake area.

Golden Band Resources is, according to the company, Saskatchewan's leading gold explorer.

Saskatchewan is located in Canada and last month the company released results for its Golden Heart gold deposit area.

These included 156.6 g/t of gold across 2.74 metres and 5.18 g/t of gold across 8.40 metres.
