Exquisite wedding gown features gold zippersMonday, 30th June 2008 (533 views) A recent bridal show displayed a wedding gown adorned with gold zippers, it has been reported.Jeweller Van Cleef & Arpels selected bridal dresses by Francois to offset its new collection of wedding bands, necklaces, bracelets and earrings, reports the Korea Times. The news provider highlights a gown that created a corset-effect with the help of gold zippers. "Francois' ultra-feminine, sensual but tasteful wedding gowns were the perfect foil for Van Cleef & Arpels' jewels," the newspaper explains. Van Cleef & Arpels was responsible for designing the tiara worn by Grace Kelly when she became the princess of Monaco more than 50 years ago. The Parisian jeweller has also crafted accessories for famous faces such as Marlene Dietrich and Eva Peron. Its new range reportedly celebrates love with intricate rings and necklaces evoking the shapes of flowers and lace. The range is being displayed in the Myeong-dong and Apgujeong-dong areas of South Korea next month.
