Gold on display at Coutts London Jewellery WeekWednesday, 11th June 2008 (454 views) Coutts London Jewellery Week commences on June 11th, bringing a dazzling array of accessories crafted from gold and other precious metals to the capital.According to the Telegraph, more than 600 international designers are displaying work at the event, which is the first ever London Jewellery Week. Highlights reportedly include the My Most Treasured exhibition taking place at Browns' South Molton Street store, featuring a skull pearl necklace made by Loree Rodkin and lent to the store by model Natalia Vodianova. Rodkin is relatively unknown in the UK but popular in the US among celebrities including Salma Hayek and Madonna, the newspaper observes. Gold fans may be interested in the special offers being launched by retailers in conjunction with London Jewellery Week. Engagement ring shoppers with Dennis & Lavery may be interested their 18-carat gold wedding ring offer. Other designers exhibiting items for the occasion are Arabelle Morgan and Sarah Sho of SHO, while Harry Winston and Theo Fennel items can also be viewed.
