Garson Gold updates estimateTuesday, 10th June 2008 (364 views) Garson Gold has updated its resource estimate for the No.3 zone at its New Britannia Mine Property.In its new National Instrument 43-101 compliant, the company has made a significant addition to the previously known resources. It includes resources in the indicated category of 85,000 oz (394,000 tonnes at 6.72 g/t gold) and a further 117,000 oz (575,000 tonnes at 6.31 g/t gold) in the inferred category. David Tafel, president and chief executive officer of Garson Gold, said that the company's goal is to develop a sufficient resource in the New Britannia satellite zones to justify reopening the mine. "We are very pleased that our exploration program has met with early success in significantly increasing the resource base at the New Britannia and are optimistic that our exploration program will continue to generate successful results." He added that the company has taken a large step towards it objective with its new resource estimate. Last month, Garson Gold announced continued positive results from the No. 3 and boundary zones at the New Britannia Mine as well as the initial drill results from the Kim Zone.
