Paul Burrell designs Diana-inspired gold jewelleryMonday, 9th June 2008 (1071 views) Princess Diana's former butler Paul Burrell has designed a range of gold jewellery based on her favourite pieces.The range, which will be sold via the US shopping channel ShopNBC, features a chain and cross and an 18-carat ring. According to the Sun, Burrell, who was in Diana's service for a decade has said that all of the pieces in the 'Effy Signature Range' are designed with the princess's taste in mind. It reports that he told a friend Diana's private taste was much more understated than the jewellery she wore in public. "My range will stay true to that and to her - understated but beautiful and eye-catching. I am told it will be very popular in America because of the interest in Diana," the news provider quotes him as saying. In related news, a gold necklace the late princess gave her medium Rita Rogers sold at auction for £14,000 more than double its top estimate.
