Qatari company Sky Jewellery is to offer its customers free gold coins as part of its celebrations to mark the firm's third anniversary, according to reports.

The Times of Oman says the company, which was originally founded established in Doha, Qatar, will present the coins to the first 25 customers at its store during the celebration on May 24th.

Another 100 will receive additional gifts, the site says.

The celebrations will start at Sky's showroom at 08:00 local time and are scheduled to last to midnight, it adds, with "fascinating offers" set to take place throughout the day.

Sky Jewellery's managing director Babu John said the coins were a thank you to customers to have provided the firm with a "consistent and steady" stream of business through the years.

The company's general manager Cyriac Varghese added: "Sky Jewellery has deep gratitude to all its customers for making this brand a real and final choice in the gold and diamond jewellery market and invites everyone in the region to be part of the celebrations."

Previous Sky Jewellery promotions include the Buy Gold and Win Gold initiative and a grand draw with a prize of a kilo of gold.
