Golden Arrow announces results

Friday, 28th March 2008 (1449 views)

Golden Arrow Resources has revealed the results of its five-hole, 1,553-metre reverse circulation drill programme.

The company undertook the Poncha Gold-Copper Project in Argentina in November and December of last year, with the five holes testing geochemical-geophysical targets in the four sq km South Target epithermal zone.

Highlights of the assay results include hole RCPC13, which was drilled in the north-west sector. This intersected over a 266-metre interval, in which there were "numerous" high-grade gold intercepts.

Golden Arrow said it earns up to a 100 per cent interest in the project, which is situated in the San Juan Province in Argentina.

The company also has a range of other current projects in the country, as well as the Rio Tabaconas Project in northern Peru.

Earlier this month saw the announcement that the Phase I drill programme at the San Jose Project in Argentina had commenced.
