Not all love is romantic, says gold ring company

Thursday, 31st January 2008 (1103 views)

A new line of gold rings has been launched, aimed at people who want to buy presents for platonic friends, relatives and soul mates.

Links of London Jewellers states that its new Amitie range is ideal for adult school friends or parents and offspring to communicate their love via the medium of jewellery.

"Amitie is more than a casual connection or a passing phase. Amitie is a lasting exchange of rings worth sharing, wearing and showing off," asserts the company.

Among the designs available in the collection are Kinship, a solid band, and Connect, featuring a central gemstone.

Both are available in 18 carat solid yellow gold, with gemstones including rhodolites and tanzanites.

With prices ranging from £130 to £1,400, pieces in the range can be stacked together or combined with other Links items, the firm advises.

The rings are released ahead of Valentine's Day, which falls on February 14th.
