One of the "best gold exploration drill holes in Australia" has been produced by Integra Mining, according to Mineweb.

The hole intersected a zone of mineralisation on the Salt Creek gold prospect with an average grade of seven grams of gold per tonne and a 14-metre segment grading 13.37 grams of gold per tonne.

In addition, the company announced results of a second drill hole, averaging 4.59 grams of gold per tonne over 37 metres, which has extended the known gold mineralisation on the site by more than 600 metres.

Part of the Randalls gold mining project, located east of Kalgoorlie, Australia, the Salt Creek prospect is set to be the subject of an upcoming study to determine the feasibility of upping production at the site to 120,000 ounces of gold per year.

The company wholly owns three projects in western Australia's Eastern Goldfields, including Randalls, Mount Monger and Aldiss, as well as Coqarna, a joint venture project.

In June, the company entered into an options agreement to purchase the Red Dale tenements, which are located near the Salt Creek prospect.
