Initial drill results have suggested continuity of the gold resource on the Conway Paquin property, Conway Resources has announced.

A total of 19 out of 27 drill holes conducted in a 1,677-metre operation on the Conway gold vein have confirmed mineralisation values greater than one gram of gold per tonne, the company stated.

These samples are now being analysed with a metallic sieve method, which will measure the total amount of gold each sample contains.

It is currently known that the vein continues for a minimum strike length of 700 metres, which could be further extended once pending assay results have been returned from the laboratory.

According to Conway Resources' president and chief executive officer, Laurent Beaudoin, the company is "very pleased" with the results of the drilling operation thus far.

"The results are very encouraging for the company and we are eager to follow up on this work," he said.

Based in Quebec, Canada, Conway Resources currently owns four gold properties near the historically lucrative Belleterre and old Lorraine mines.
