Results from a drilling programme on the Whitney Township and Pam gold properties, located near Timmins, Ontario, Canada, have shown that several drill holes have intersected gold in the target areas.

Temex Resources announced that six holes drilled to test the Hugh Pam Conglomerate zone intersected gold mineralisation, confirming the results of previous drilling, which outlined two gold mineralized horizons on the site.

One of three holes intended to test the company's Reef Pit zone also intersected gold mineralisation at the area's down-dip extension and although the other two holes did not intersect significant gold, analysis found that they displayed similar alteration to other mineralised areas in the Broulan Reef mine trend.

The company has reported that a field programme, encompassing geochemical sampling, geological mapping, surface geophysical induced polarisation, linecutting and magnetometer surveys is now being conducted on the site, where previous exploration reports claim that anomalous gold is present.

Temex Resources has whole ownership of the Pam property, with the option to earn a 60 per cent interest in the Whitney Township Property from the Porcupine Joint Venture.
