High-grade gold intercepts have been recorded at shallow depths at Integra Mining's Randalls project, the company has reported.

The intercepts were taken from deposits in the Salt Creek gold discovery area of the project and are considered to be especially significant because their distance from previously drilled areas mean that there is a continuation of well-developed mineralisation for at least 160 metres south-east of the current site.

Integra Mining's Randall's project is part of a series of gold exploration projects located east of Kalgoorlie in western Australia.

In July this year, the company purchased a fully-fitted mining camp, suitable for up to 40 people and complete with all appliances, fittings and necessary equipment near Kalgoorlie.

According to Integra Mining's website, the company considers itself to be one of western Australia's "most aggressive junior explorers," investing an annual A$7 million (£3.03 million) into its exploration budget.

Currently, 80 per cent of the resources on the Aldiss-Randalls project are classified as indicated, which the company hopes to progress and upgrade as it continues development on the mining site.
