Based on production results from the third quarter of 2007 from the Robinson mine in Nevada, Quadra Mining has said that the company is currently poised to exceed its estimated gold guidance for the year.

Although full financial details for the quarter will not be released until November 5th, the company's president and chief executive officer, Paul Blythe, said that based on year-to-date results and current production trends at the site, the company is now expected to produce more than 90,000 ounces of gold by the end of the year.

"The work we are doing to improve our gold production estimates are well in hand," he said. "We have maintained our production momentum at Robinson throughout the third quarter."

The Robinson mine, located around 11 kilometres west of Ely in White Pine County, has been in operation since 1867 and produced a recorded 2.7 million ounces of gold between 1908 and 1974.

Now operating as an open-pit mine, the modern Robinson mine has been under the ownership of Quadra Mining since 2005.
