International gold jewellery retailer Damas has unveiled its latest collection, from jewellery brand Fope, which is named after the Dutch painter Piet Mondrian.

Fope's Mondrian collection comprises of a selection of rigid and semi-rigid bracelets, necklaces and pendants in rose gold, yellow gold and white gold.

The gold jewellery is also decorated with a mix of rubies, amethysts, sapphires, blue topaz, peridots and rose tourmalines.

"The Mondrian collection takes on a highly artistic concept to create memorable pieces that exude feminine elegance. It brings together rectangular shapes and circular forms in an interesting partnership that is backed by Fope's impeccable craftsmanship," commented Tawhid Abdullah, managing director of Damas.

Fope's gold collection reportedly reflects Mondrian's design philosophy, typified by unique stylistic compositions of geometric forms of colour.

In addition to creating the Mondrian line, Fope has also designed collections including Lavinia, Abissi, Passioni, Masai, Maori, Yo-Yo and Andromeda.
