A gold Harley Davidson motorcycle is on display at a shopping mall in Turkey, according to a report.

The item - named Gold Bike - has one kg of gold and is being displayed at a mall in Konya, claims Turkish Daily News.

Shopping mall manager Ersin Bal told the publication: "It was the first time in Turkey that a shopping mall arranged something like this."

Made in 1984, the bike has 120 horsepower and is billed by the news provider as the exhibition's most attractive feature.

Other vehicles features at the mall include Police, a 1962 cycle designed for policemen and 1981's Shovelhead.

The exhibition will remain in Konya until June 26th, before moving to Antalya, on the country's Mediterranean coast.

In related news, a new exhibition in Harvey Nichols features a gold-plated gun and gold bullet in a handbag.
