Gold production 'looks good' for Trade WindsMonday, 30th October 2006 (2541 views) Gold production is looking good at Trade Winds Ventures' M Zone gold deposit in its Block A property at Detour Lake, Ontario.The company has completed the first mineral resource estimate for the site and found an indicated resource of 14,158,000 tonnes grading 1.77 grams of gold per tonne, in total containing 804,321 ounces of gold. It has also recorded an inferred mineral resource of 24,796,000 tonnes grading 1.88 grams of gold per tonne containing 1,499,552 ounces of gold, according to an official release. Trade Winds Ventures is a Canada-based gold mining company whose primary properties lie in Ontario in both the Detour Lake and the Red Lake/Birch Lake mining districts, home to some of the country's most profitable mines. Its M Zone deposit in Block A was chosen as the company's initial priority exploration target. It is an advanced stage exploration project which has excellent potential for new underground and near surface open-pit gold resources.
