Canada proves a 'golden paradise'Monday, 30th October 2006 (2531 views) Canada is providing to be a paradise for gold miners as reports are emerging thick and fast of new high-grade gold discoveries in the country.Indeed Montreal-based Yorbeau Resources last week unveiled positive partial results from its Rouyn property near Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. Drilling at the site returned a grade of 49.98 grams of gold per tonne over 4.3 metres. Meanwhile Vancouver's Tenajon Resources has announced that drilling on its Kansas claim continues to intersect high-grade gold, including 3.05 metres at 30.65 grams of gold per tonne and 1.22 metres at 23.14 grams of gold per tonne. And YGC Resources, also based in Vancouver, has announced positive results from its channel sampling programme from the Shamrock Gold Zone on the past producing Ketza River property in the Yukon Territory. Indeed with reports such as these emerging in quick succession it seems high grade gold can be found almost anywhere in Canada and will have gold miners flocking to the country.
