Good yield in GuyanaWednesday, 25th October 2006 (2218 views) Stratagold Corporation has announced that it is pleased with its latest results which included 36 diamond drill holes at its latest project in Guyana.Over 5,096 metres were explored in total but another 554 holes are planned in the South American country. Much gold mineralisation was found including a completely new discovery at Mine Creek where 18 of the holes were completed. One intersection hit high graded gold such as 5.4 grams of gold per tonne over 53 metres. Positive metallurgical test work was proclaimed this month by the same company for their its Tassawini Project where rapid development and expansion were confirmed. Drilling there had been continuing at an average of 1,000 metres every week and a visit by shareholders and analysts was held last week for all involved to witness to Mine Creek discovery for themselves. Tassawini is a 1,425-hectare gold property located 170 kilometres north-west of Georgetown in Guyana. The project got underway in 2004 with the first high-grade gold results announced last year.
