Friday, 22nd September 2006 (5513 views) Logan has announced that diamond drilling work at its Canadian site is continuing and that good progress is being made. The Heidi project is located at the Yukon in Canada. It comprises of 54 claims across 1,000 hectares and can be found 95 km to the north-east of Dawson City, 30 km east of the Dempster Highway. Drilling at two holes is currently underway, with the first currently dug to a depth of approximately 237 metres. The drilling of the second hole is taking place on a site the company rates as a priority target. Material is being flown out of the site to Vancouver every two days so that analysis can take place. Because of weather conditions, it may only be possible to continue drilling for another month or two, Logan reports. A polarisation, magnetometer and gold soil anomaly is currently being outlined at Heidi. This covers an area approximately one km in length and 500 metres in width. Logan reports that results from three holes at Shell Creek are still pending. Assays will be returned shortly from these holes, which were all completed this summer.
