Mindoro makes further discoveries at Kay TandaWednesday, 26th July 2006 (2440 views) Mindoro Resources has made further discoveries at its Kay Tanda epithermal gold-silver prospect in the Archangel Project in the Philippines, the company has announced.New drill holes have produced encouraging results, adding to Mindoro's ongoing success in its reverse circulation drilling programme. Hole KT-14 assayed 32 meters of 0.52 g/t gold and hole KT-16 assayed 34 meters of 0.66 g/t gold. Mindoro's president, Tony Climie, said: "We are pleased to see grades which continue to be in line with successful open-pit, heap-leach mines elsewhere in the world. "Two phases of metallurgical testing on Kay Tanda also indicate excellent leaching characteristics. "As a result, we plan on commissioning a NI 43-101 resource report followed by a scoping study later this fall to further evaluate Kay Tanda's open-pit, heap-leach potential." Going forward Mindoro plans to continue both in-fill drilling and drilling outside the presently known mineralised area.
