An online chocolatier, IndulgeInChocolate.com, has unveiled its new collection of sweet gourmet creations, including a chocolate known as Egyptian Gold, Confectionary News reports.

The special treat is one of the newer additions to the company's collection. It is a dark chocolate brownie topped with 23-carat edible gold leaf and is one of eight new flavours of the Belgique Truffle Gateau collection – four in milk chocolate and four in dark chocolate.

The company has said it aims to tap into the growing market of top-end confectionary products.

"The truffle gateau provides us with a unique product that compliments our outstanding chocolate selections," the company said.

"The all natural ingredients combined with the best chocolate in the world make this the perfect addition to our shop and provides our customers with a great new gift idea."
