Tanishq announces pre-booking offer

Friday, 21st April 2006 (4180 views)

Indian jeweller Tanishq has announced a special pre-booking offer that will allow customers across India to receive a ten per cent discount on all jewellery, including gold.

The Asian-based jewellery brand is making the offer as gold prices continue to rise, meaning the cost of gold jewellery will escalate at the same time. By providing a pre-booking service, customers can protect themselves against this.

Aanchal Jain, marketing and merchandising manager at Tanishq, said: "Women will not only own exquisite Tanishq jewellery that suit her tastes and preferences, but also pre-book prosperity in advance."

The range has been launched in time for Akshay Tritiya, one of the most auspicious days of the Vedic Calendar, according to reports.

The festival is celebrated when the sun and the moon are both at their brightest simultaneously and coincides with the birthday of Parshurama, an incarnation of the Hindu god Vishnu.
