Thursday, 2nd March 2006 (8150 views) Fashionistas in Vancouver will be able to deck themselves out in Tiffany & Co earrings and gold watches, as the jewellery company announced it was to open a new store there.The new outlet, which will extend to 4,700 sq ft, is to open in November 2006. Located in the heart of the city's retail district, on the corner of Burrard and Alberni streets, the store will offer famous Tiffany & Co collections. Engagement diamonds set in platinum and eighteen-carat gold, rare pearls and fashionable watches will all be available in time for Christmas. Featured designers include Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, alongside the Gehry Collection from architect Frank Gehry. Tiffany & Co's executive vice president Beth Canavan said: "The qualities that make Vancouver one of the world's best cities to live in as well as to visit, also make it the ideal location for a Tiffany & Co store." She went on: "We will be well positioned in a prime street-front location in the city's premier luxury shopping area and we look forward to establishing a lasting presence in this vibrant and exciting city."
