Munder collection makes glittering debutMonday, 19th December 2005 (3927 views) Laura Munder has delighted fans of high-end gold jewellery by opening her first freestanding boutique, PalmBeachDailyNews.com reports. The launch of the new Munder boutique in Worth Avenue, Palm Beach was accompanied by an array of opulent jewellery items ranging from $1,500 to $1 million in value. An eye-catching $18,000 rock crystal, pink opal, coral diamond and white gold flower brooch are among the pieces on display. Onlookers can also admire a stunning ebony bracelet adorned with 76-carat mandarin garnet set with pave diamonds in 18-carat gold. Nearly a quarter of the items are on show for the first time. Previously she had sold her glittering collection through other retailers, including 12 Neiman Marcus branches, and she hopes the move will allow her to offer items "a little more out of the box". "Neiman Marcus, which has been wonderful for us, carries the core collection, which is designed specifically for them," said Munder's managing director Eric Gantwarg. "Laura is a very prolific designer and her collection has grown so much, we wanted to be able to showcase everything in one place."
