Greystar's latest drilling has revealed an increasing density of mineralised clusters on its Angostura deposit.

The drilling took place in the Silencio area of the Angostura gold-silver deposit in north-east Colombia.

One hole returned 1.41 g/t of gold over 200 metres, which, combined with other results, suggests good mineral continuity in the Silencio area.

'The current drilling continues to support the observed trend of ever increasing density of mineralised structures in clusters of veins,' commented Greystar's executive vice-president, Frederick Felder.

Drilling results from the central section of the La Alta area also proved promising, yielding 0.72 g/t of gold over 89 metres. Likewise, the Diamante area returned 0.89 g/t over 214 metres.

According to Greystar's president, David Rovig, the results suggest there will be less internal waste material and increase Angostura's bulk tonnage potential.

As of August 2005, Angostura was estimated to contain 5.83 million ounces of gold.
