Van Cleef & Arpels predicts strong Eid sales

Watch and jewellery house Van Cleef & Arpels is predicting strong sales ahead of the Eid holidays.

Company director Stephane De Palmas said that the Eid holidays typically led up to an extended period of increased sales, culminating in Christmas.

"The sales of watch and jewellery in this region tend to accelerate and most high-end jewellers and watch dealers stock up on inventory driven by strong sales ahead of the Eid holidays," he commented.

To coincide with the festival period the high-end jewellers is launching a new watch collection, Flowers of Time.

The collections motifs are the flowers socrate, marguerite and lotus and each watch is set in gold with diamonds and precious stones.

Founded in 1906, the jewellery house has built itself an international reputation for quality and craftsmanship.
