Alukkas Jewellery, a subsidiary of the Dubai-based Joy Alukkas Group, has opened another store near Delhi to supplement its compendium of Indian stores, reports the Times of Oman.

The jewellery company has further plans for expansion; intending to open stores in Bangalore and Hyderabad in India and also in New York, London and Singapore.

The newest store was opened by Bollywood star Mallika Sherawat and consumers can now purchase a range of gold products in both Indian and international styles.

One particular highlight of the recent opening was a gold dress weighing three kg.

The Joy Alukkas Group boasts 38 stores in the Middle East and India and claims to be the world's number one 22-carat gold jewellery retailer.

It also mints One World 24-carat gold coins, which come in various sizes and are available at its recently opened centre in Sharjah, UAE among others.
