Alamos Gold has recently been mining extensively in Mexico and so far the results have been excellent.

In particular, its project in Mulatos has done very well. Alamos estimates it will produce 150,000 ounces every year.

The mine is reported to have over a million recoverable ounces within almost two million contained ounces. Prices for the gold should be around $189 per ounce.

The company's stock price has risen 46 per cent in the last year as gold prices continue to increase.
