Central China Goldfields confirms gold mineralization in Shuiniujia

Wednesday, 28th September 2005 (2924 views)

The Central China Goldfields Company has reported its results from the Shuiniujia deposit in the Snow Mountain Project in the Sichuan Province.

The company confirmed that it had found gold mineralisation from its initial trenching efforts. In addition, more trenching and sampling aimed at increasing resources are continuing.

Two new trenches, 36R and 39R, both experienced encouraging levels of mineralisation.

The company's exploration manager, Chris Ford, was thrilled by the findings.

He said: "We look to report the results from the other trenches in the near future and we are also in the process of compiling all of the results into a 3D computer model, so that we can understand the geometry of the ore body and better plan our exploration."
