All the historic jewels on display are made from gold and, according to local Freemason Doug Daws, their craftsmanship and rarity makes them worth thousands of dollars. Also on display are booklets from installation ceremonies and Masonic tools. Another gold-related exhibition showing at the West Australia Museum in Kalgoorlie-Boulder is Fortunes Down Below. Detailing the history and heritage of the Eastern Goldfields, it includes a collection of gold nuggets and the first gold bar ever minted in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
