Thursday, 22nd September 2005 (4257 views)

Tiffany & Co will be joining forces with the respected architect Frank Gehry to create an exclusive new jewellery collection.

Available in the US and Japan from April 2006, and in Asia and Europe in autumn 2006, the Gehry Collection will debut with six jewellery collections.

Chairman and chief executive officer of Tiffany's, Michael J Kowalski, hailed the Gehry Collection as a milestone in Tiffany's heritage.

"We fully anticipate that our partnership, combining as it does Mr. Gehry's genius with Tiffany's tradition of innovation and utmost quality, will change the rules of jewellery and fashion to equal and spectacular effect," he went on to say.

Mr Gehry is noted for designing the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao in 1997 and was awarded the Gold Medal from the American Institute of Architects in 1999.
