Wednesday, 27th July 2005 (5408 views)

Gold is featuring in new range of hair accessory designs.

The yellow metal is being used in a variety of hair accessories, livening up a market where consumers are demanding more from their designs.

Indian hair accessory specialists are seeing a particular demand for their gold-based products.

New products include jooda pins and side pins, side combs, side pins, clutchers, baby clips and other gold-plated and stone-studded hair accessories.

Young girls are reported to have picked up on the designs, with many retailers seeing decent demand for variety in their fashion products.

The development is the latest in a line of more fashionable ideas for gold, which is no longer considered a traditional, orthodox metal.track
