Gold origami earrings popular with starsThursday, 14th July 2005 (4740 views) A new form of gold jewellery has proved popular in the US, especially amongst the rich and famous.Young actress Lindsay Lohan, a perennial figure on the LA party scene, has been spotted wearing a pair of novel origami style gold earrings, the Telegraph reports. The intricate jewellery, inspired by the Japanese art form, is by Slink, the new jewellery line from Lakshmi Gulab and Kiran Bharwani. The unusual and unique designs were inspired by the pair's time spent in India, Africa, Hong Kong and Japan. A collection of 35 pieces is available to customers with items utilising white mother of pearl, diamonds, coral and gold.
