NY to host Italian gold exhibitionTuesday, 12th July 2005 (4339 views) New York is set to host an Italian gold exhibition through the summer months.The Styles and Design of Italian Creativity exhibition will take place at the Campania Region Office aton East 54th Street in the city. The exhibit will showcase some of Italys most prominent designers, including Valentino, Capucci, Lancetti, Ken Scott, Roberta da Camerino, Fernanda Gattinori, Giorgio Armani and Versace. Jewellery created with 18k gold will be a big attraction at the event, which is to be preceded by a cocktail reception. Also featuring in the event is jewellery worn by icons such as Anna Magnani, Ingrid Bergman and Jacqueline Kennedy, items which will certainly provide the American audience with further interest. Contemporary jewels created by jewellers from Naples, Torre del Greco and the Neapolitan Province will also be on display. Additionally, a selection of sensual cameos, once common Naples souvenirs, will be featured.
