Thursday, 16th June 2005 (7297 views) A company based in Bangalore, India has won a lucrative contract to supply 22 carat gold designer jewellery to a Chicago-based enterprise.<br/><br/>Rajesh Exports will supply MR Gems, a dominant player in the Chicago market, with the gold jewellery over the next five months.<br/><br/>The contract, worth 2,260 million rupees (£28.5 million), is a major breakthrough for Rajesh Exports, allowing the company to break into the US market with its designer jewellery range.<br/><br/>According to local news sources, MR Gems chose Rajesh Exports because of the quality of its products and the fact that it delivers on time.<br/><br/>The jewellery will be manufactured at Rajesh Exports' Bangalore-based facility, the largest jewellery manufacturing facility in the world, according to local reports.
